Kindle enthusiasts...there's no reason you shouldn't "Get Caught Reading" either, especially if you've already purchased The Shroud of Heaven (or otherwise somehow acquired it....I won't tell).  If you can figure out a way to capture an image that identifies you reading Shroud or any of the other works listed below, no matter what the format, you can submit your entry, same as anyone else. (Hint: Perhaps some kind of visual representation would be helpful...a sign perhaps?)

Have you been caught yet?

Want to win some free books?  Sure you do, and here's one way to add to your collection. 

All you need is a copy of one of my books and some kind of camera—and maybe an accomplice would help, too.  You don’t even have to buy the book, just get “caught” reading it in a public place—a bookstore will do—and then send it to me as a JPEG attachment, along with your name and the location where the picture was taken.

No Purchase Necessary… Is that right?  Yep, you can take a copy of The Shroud of Heaven off the shelves of your local Barnes & Noble store—they’re supposed to be stocking it, and if not, then you can order it.  You won’t be obligated to buy it, and if you decide not to, they’ll just put it on the shelf for someone else to buy.

The contest will be limited to one hundred entries with the winner drawn at random.  Only one submission per household please, but if you “get caught reading” any of my other books—Magic Mirror or Secret Agent X: The Sea Wraiths—then you will automatically receive two entries, doubling your chances of winning. (Sorry, but The Clive Cussler Code isn’t eligible for this contest)

The Prize?  The winner will receive a signed copy of the rare Secret Agent X volume 2 anthology from Wild Cat Books, which features my novella “Masterpiece of Vengeance”, a choice of either The Sea Wraiths or The Shroud of Heaven (signed of course) and an advanced readers copy of Into the Black, the next chapter in the Nick Kismet chronicles. The first runner up will receive a signed copy of the Secret Agent X vol. 2 (Airship 27/Cornerstone books edition) which also includes my story, but features a slightly different line up of other stories.

Restrictions?  None that I’m aware of.  If you live in a country that can receive U.S. mail, then you are eligible to enter.  Friends and family?  Of course.  Employees of the various publishing firms I’m affiliated with?  Sure, why not.  You’ll have to trust me that there will be no shenanigans; come on, it’s just a friendly prize giveaway, not a plot to take over the world.

Oh, one last thing.  All photo entries will be posted on seanellisthrillers.webs.com and my Facebook page, along with first name and a general geographical location.  No personal information will ever be given out.  Submission of photographs implies consent.
